Saskatchewan Long-Term Care

Saskatchewan’s long-term care system provides full-time residential care for individuals with complex medical and personal needs. Managed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority, care is delivered in publicly funded facilities across the province. Current priorities include enhancing quality of care, addressing staff shortages, and ensuring services are accessible in both urban and rural areas.
